PUBLIC HEARING
The Marion Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday June 6, 2013 starting at 7:00 pm in the Marion Township Hall located at 03735 Marion Center Road, Charlevoix, Michigan.
The hearing will be to receive comment on a request for a dimensional variance to allow the splitting of a parcel located at 02738 Marion Center Rd., owned by Blanche Bracco, and Gregg & Patricia Gregroy, (Tax Parcel # 009-023-019-20).
All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and comment on the proposed amendment.

SIGN REGULATIONS
No Signs Are Allowed on Road Right-of-Way
The following regulations apply to the display of all garage/yard sale, auction, political, real estate, open houses, and related signs.
These signs shall not exceed 6 square feet per face, shall not have
more than two faces, or be placed higher than 4 feet from ground
level.
These signs shall be limited to 1 sign per property per street/road
frontage.
No more than two off premise signs shall be permitted and only with
permission of the other property owner.
These signs shall be setback at least 5 feet from the front property
line.
Signs shall be removed within 24 hours of the event.
Signs in the road right-of-way will be removed to the Township
Hall at the owners expense, and may be retrieved prior to disposal
after 30 days.
Repeat offenders may receive citations.
